1. Introduction

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which WONS (Web-enabled On-demand Network Services) ("we," "us," or "our") may provide refunds for MyTshong subscriptions and services.

By subscribing to MyTshong, you agree to this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before making any payment.

2. General Refund Policy

2.1 No Refunds on Subscriptions

Standard Policy:
All subscription fees paid for MyTshong are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Annual subscriptions
  • Renewal payments
  • Upgrade fees

Once a subscription period has started, we do not provide refunds for:

  • Unused time in your subscription period
  • Change of mind or business circumstances
  • Inability to use the Service due to lack of technical expertise
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described before purchase

2.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the paid period, but no refund will be provided for the remaining time.

3. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

3.1 Service Unavailability

We may provide a refund or credit if:

  • MyTshong experiences prolonged service outages (more than 72 consecutive hours) due to our technical failures
  • We permanently discontinue the Service with less than 30 days' notice

Calculation:
Refunds for service unavailability will be prorated based on the downtime period and will be issued as:

  • Account credit for future use, OR
  • Refund to your original payment method (at our discretion)

3.2 Billing Errors

If you were charged incorrectly due to:

  • Technical errors in our billing system
  • Duplicate charges
  • Charges after proper cancellation

We will promptly investigate and issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.

3.3 Unauthorized Charges

If unauthorized charges appear on your account:

  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be automatically charged

4.2 Trial Cancellation

  • Cancel your subscription before the trial period expires
  • Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the trial end date
  • No refunds will be provided if you forget to cancel before the trial ends

4.3 Trial Eligibility

Free trials are:

  • Limited to one trial per business/individual
  • Subject to verification of business registration
  • Not available for previously subscribed users

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider:

  • Chargebacks can result in account suspension

7.2 Chargeback Consequences

If you initiate a chargeback:

  • Your MyTshong account may be immediately suspended
  • Access to your business data may be restricted
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees
  • We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for fraudulent chargebacks

7.3 Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to work with us directly to resolve any billing disputes before involving third parties.

8. Subscription Downgrades

8.1 Downgrade Policy

If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan:

  • The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refund is provided for the difference in plan prices
  • You continue to have access to higher-tier features until the downgrade takes effect

8.2 Feature Limitations

After downgrading:

  • You may lose access to premium features
  • Data exceeding the lower-tier limits may become inaccessible
  • You are responsible for ensuring your data fits within the new plan limits

9. Account Termination by MyTshong

9.1 Violation of Terms

If we terminate your account due to:

  • Abuse of the Service
  • Non-payment

No refund will be provided for the remaining subscription period.

9.2 Service Discontinuation

If we decide to permanently discontinue MyTshong:

  • We will provide at least 30 days' notice
  • You will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription
  • We will provide options for data export

10. Taxes and Government Fees

10.1 Non-Refundable Taxes

Taxes collected in accordance with Bhutanese law, including Bhutan Sales Tax (BST), are non-refundable, even if your subscription is refunded.

10.2 Tax Adjustments

If tax rates change or we incorrectly calculated taxes, we will:

  • Adjust future charges accordingly
  • Issue refunds only for overpaid taxes (not the entire subscription)

11. Special Promotions and Discounts

11.1 Promotional Pricing

Subscriptions purchased at promotional or discounted rates are subject to the same refund policy as regular-priced subscriptions.

11.2 Promotional Codes

  • Promotional codes and discounts cannot be refunded for cash value
  • If a refund is issued, it will be for the amount actually paid, not the original price

We are not liable for refunds due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
